Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 lb. raw peanuts
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook this mixture of sauce, water and syrup until it spins a thread.
    Add the peanuts.
    Cook until it looks golden brown, stirring constantly.
    As your remove from heat, stir in the soda. Immediately pour onto a greased jelly roll pan.
    Cool.
    Break in chunks.
