Pecan Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick softened and creamed oleo
    1 box light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Add 1/2 box of sugar at a time to softened and creamed oleo; cream after each addition.
    Then add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add remaining ingredients except pecans.
    Beat well and then add pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
