Yeast Rolls (Basic) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. shortening or oil
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water (110\u00b0).
    After approximately 10 minutes add 1 egg and let set while mixing milk, shortening sugar and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1 cup flour; beat well.
    Beat in yeast and egg mixture.
    Add remaining flour.
    Place in greased large bowl; cover.
    Place in refrigerator 2 hours or even overnight.
