Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, broken (not chopped)
1 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Mix together butter, egg and sugar.
Add vanilla, pecans and flour.
Mix well.
Drop by small teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until edges are brown.
Take off sheet immediately and cool on rack.
