Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sour milk
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order listed.
    Heat 1 tablespoon Wesson oil in heavy iron skillet on top burner of stove until grease is hot, but not smoking.
    Pour ingredients into skillet; place in preheated 400\u00b0 oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until brown. Serves 6 to 8.
