Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 (12 oz.) can beer (room temperature)
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour, but do not sift.
    Add beer gently.
    Stir just enough to mix (not over 2 minutes).
    Put in greased and floured bread pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
