Bacon Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    4 med.-lg. potatoes, cubed
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. milk
    1 (10 oz.) can cream chicken soup
    12 oz. sour cream
    1/2 Tbsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut bacon into pieces.
    Fry in heavy pot until crispy.
    Add onion, and saute for 5 minutes.
    Drain grease, leaving about 1 Tbsp. in pan for flavor.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Cook until potatoes are done.
    In separate bowl, combine milk, soup, sour cream and seasonings.
    Add potatoes. Heat to serving temperature. Do not boil.
    Makes 4-6 servings.
