Carrot Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. grated raw carrot
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cream shortening and brown sugar.
    Beat in egg and carrot. Add sifted flour and dry ingredients.
    Add water.
    Turn into greased 9 inch ring mold.
    Bake at 350 degrees until firm, about 30 - 40 minutes.
    Serve with dinner.
