Refrigerator Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 c. sliced cucumbers
1 c. green pepper slices
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 c. sliced sweet onion
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. dark vinegar
Preparation

Slice cucumbers. Add salt and stir.
Let stand 1 hour and drain (do not rinse). Stir in onion and green pepper.
Combine sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
Heat until comes to a boil. Remove from heat and cool.
Pour over cucumber mixture and stir. Put in gallon container and refrigerate.
