Water Chestnut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 to 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 can water chestnuts, cut in fourths
Preparation
    Mix together all of the ingredients; put in a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Melt 1 stick butter (oleo) and stir in one row of crushed Ritz crackers.
    Sprinkle mixture over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
