Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
    2 c. figs (Nahum 3:12)
    2 c. almonds (Numbers 17:8)
    3 1/2 c. flour (1 Kings 4:22)
    1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
    2 c. molasses (Jeremiah 6:20)
    2 tsp. baking powder (Amos 4:5)
    pinch of salt (Leviticus 2:13)
    6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
    1 c. sour milk (Judges 4:19)
    6 Tbsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
    spices to taste (2 Chronicles 9:9)
Preparation
    Sprinkle nuts, figs and raisins with a small amount of flour. Cream the butter. Blend in molasses and honey. Add eggs. Sift baking powder, remaining flour, salt and spices.
    Add to batter alternately with milk. Bake 2 hours in greased 10-inch tube pan at 300\u00b0.
