Real Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sections garlic cloves
    9 c. water
    3 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. plain salt
    dill weed
    18 small cucumbers
Preparation
    Put dill weed and 1 to 2 sections garlic cloves in bottom of each quart jar.
    Add each cucumber (whole) to fill jar.
    Bring mixture of water, vinegar and salt to boil.
    Pour over cucumbers. Seal with hot lid.
    Turn jars upside-down for 8 hours.
