Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar and Crisco and add egg.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Add to first mixture.
    Make into balls the size of walnut or smaller.
    Press down; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or colored sugar.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
