Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    3 to 4 bananas
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cream the shortening; add the sugar gradually and continue working until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat well. Add the flour mixture alternately with the bananas a small amount at a time, beating after each addition until smooth. Pour into a well-greased bread pan (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inches) and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
