Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cream shortening and butter.
    Add brown and white sugars.
    Blend.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Beat mixture until light; add nutmeats.
    Blend in dry ingredients and mix well.
    Divide dough in 2 parts and make 2 rolls.
    Wrap in wax paper; chill overnight in refrigerator.
    Slice off and bake at 425\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
