Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. tomato juice
3/4 c. Quaker oats (uncooked)
1 egg or egg white
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine all ingredients except ground beef; mix well.
Add ground beef; mix lightly, but thoroughly. Press into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Drain; let stand 5 minutes.
Yields 8 servings.
