Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. water
    lemon rind and juice
Preparation
    Mix and put into boiler.
    Stir while cooking on low heat. Flavor with lemon rind and juice or lemon flavoring.
    Bring to a boil on low heat.
    Serve warm on plain vanilla or lemon cake.
