Chicken-Cabbage Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken breast, cut into strips
    1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    1 1/2 c. broccoli flowerets
    1 apple, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. grated ginger root
    3 c. coarsely shredded red or green cabbage
Preparation
    Marinate chicken in teriyaki sauce 30 minutes at room temperature.
    In wok, combine sherry, vinegar, 1 tablespoon oil and ginger root.
    Add cabbage and bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat. Cook, covered, for 4 minutes.
    Add broccoli and apples.
    Cook, covered, 3 minutes more.
    Remove cabbage.
    Discard liquid in wok. Drain chicken.
    Heat remaining oil and stir-fry chicken 3 to 4 minutes.
    Serves 2.
