Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. pecans (finely chopped)
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream butter or margarine, sugar, and vanilla for 3-4 minutes.
    Stir in flour and pecans just until blended.
    Roll into 1 inch balls.
    Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 20 minutes or until lightly brown around edges.
    Let cool and sprinkle on powdered sugar.
