Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. melted shortening or vegetable oil
Preparation
    Place egg whites in small bowl and beat at speed 2 for two minutes or until moist peak forms.
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into large bowl then add the egg yolks, milk and shortening or veg. oil.
    Mix at speed 1 for one minute.
    Add the beaten egg whites and mix at speed 1 for one-half minute.
    Bake on hot waffle iron until golden brown.
