Broccoli Parmesan Fettuccine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broccoli flowerets
    8 oz. fettuccine, uncooked
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. Canadian bacon, cut in thin strips
    1/3 c. whipping cream
    1-1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Cook broccoli in boiling water with a cover for about 3 minutes; drain and plunge into ice water. Drain and set aside. Cook fettuccine according to directions; drain and place in a large bowl. Set aside.
