Chiles Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (4 oz.) cans whole green chiles, cut in half lengthwise and seeded, divided
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded medium Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. milk
    4 eggs. beaten
    1 1/4 c. milk
    4 dashes of hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, stirring to crumble beef; drain well.
    Stir in 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, and set aside.
