Jalapeno Pepper Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 (8 oz.) carton commercial sour cream
    1/2 c. shortening, melted
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained
    2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
    Pour batter into a well-greased 10 1/2-inch cast-iron skillet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields about 8 servings.
