Coconut Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/3 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 c. fine grated coconut
Preparation

Sift flour once; measure.
Add baking powder, salt and soda. Sift again.
Cream the butter; add sugars gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla.
Beat well. Add flour, oatmeal and coconut.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape dough into small balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0) for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yields about 3 dozen.
