1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
7 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. raisins
Preparation

Cream
sugar, oleo and shortening together.
Add beaten eggs to the creamed mixture.
Sift all dry ingredients together. Combine
creamed
mixture,\tdry
ingredients, raisins and milk to form a soft dough.\tGently roll a portion of dough to 1/4-inch thickness;\tcut
with
round
cookie cutter.
Fry on skillet
at 350\u00b0 for 3 minutes on each side.
Sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar while cooking.
