Mexican Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 c. drained kidney beans
    1/2 c. Catalina salad dressing
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    4 c. shredded lettuce
    1/2 c. sliced green onions
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Stir in kidney beans, salad dressing, water and chili powder.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Shred 8 ounces Cheddar cheese.
    Combine lettuce and sliced green onions.
    Add meat sauce and 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
    Toss lightly and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
