Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 lb. pecans
    1 lb. raisins
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
    1 lb. fruit cake mix
    1 lb. gumdrops
    1 lb. candied cherries (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
    1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar together.
    Add applesauce and eggs.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add last 4 ingredients.
    Mix all together.
    Bake in a tube pan with wax paper in it for 4 hours in a 200\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 oven.
