Irish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz. butter
6 oz. flour, sifted
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 oz. gelatin
1 pt. whipping cream
1 jigger whiskey
4 oz. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 pt. brewed coffee
grated chocolate or nuts
Preparation

Beat butter and 4 ounces sugar until white and creamy.
Add beaten eggs and mix together.
Mix in flour.
Pour into oblong baking pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
Turn onto wire rack and cool.
Make coffee.
Add gelatin, brown sugar and whiskey and pour evenly over cake.
Chill about 1 hour.
Spread the whipped cream over cake.
Decorate with grated walnuts.
