Savory Harvest Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, cored and coarsely chopped
3/4 c. margarine
4 strips bacon, fried crisp and cut into small pieces
1/4 tsp. dry minced garlic or liquid garlic
1 tsp. caraway seed
salt and pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
Preparation

Melt shortening in Dutch oven or frying pan.
Add cabbage and stir over medium heat until tender.
Add remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
Serves six to eight.
