Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. shortening (part butter)
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
    Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
