Basil Butter Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fresh green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped celery
1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh basil or 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In saucepan, combine beans, onion, celery and water.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until beans are tender to taste.
Drain; add butter, basil, salt and pepper.
Stir to coat.
Serve immediately.
Yields 2 servings.
(Can be doubled to serve 4.)
