Spinach Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 small onion, chopped
2 Tbsp butter, melted
5 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup half and half
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan - use fresh
1/2 lb shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation

Bake pie shell at 400\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Set aside.
Saute onion and bacon in butter just until coated.
Add spinach, stirring well. Cook 2 minutes.
Add flour, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, mixing well. Combine eggs, half and half, and cheese.
Beat well.
Stir into spinach mixture.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until top is golden and center is set.
