Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie crust
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 capful vanilla flavoring
    small hunk butter
    5 oz. coconut
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a pan, mix sugar, flour and 1 cup milk.
    In a mixing bowl, divide eggs, setting whites aside.
    Beat egg yellows and add 1 cup milk.
    Add yellow egg mixture to ingredients in pan and cook over medium heat until thick and boiling.
    Set off stove and add vanilla and butter.
    Stir in coconut.
    Put in cool pie crust.
