Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda
    6 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box seedless raisins
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    2 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. peach preserves (any kind may be used)
    1 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift spices and flour; add soda to buttermilk.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the sugar-butter mixture. Fold in jam, preserves and nuts last until well-distributed.
    Bake about 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven.
