Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour boiling water slowly over the cocoa, stirring until mixture is consistency of cake batter.
    Beat egg yolks well and add to chocolate.
    Cream butter and sugar well; stir into mixture. Stir soda into buttermilk.
    Add buttermilk and flour slowly.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in well beaten egg whites.
    Bake in two pans for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
