Cornflake Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    5 c. cornflakes
    3/4 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 3-quart saucepan.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils.
    Remove from heat and add cornflakes and peanuts.
    Press lightly in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool and cut into squares.
