Lemon Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    2/3 c. finely chopped toasted almonds
    2/3 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese and butter at high speed of electric mixer until creamy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cream cheese mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Mix after each addition.
    Stir in almonds.
