Low-Fat Mac And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. elbow macaroni, uncooked
    16 oz. low-fat Cheddar cheese, grated (about 4 c.)
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. low-fat or non-fat dairy sour cream
    1/2 c. low-fat or non-fat mayonnaise
    8 crackers, crumbled
Preparation
    Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
    In a large bowl, combine pasta with cheese, onion, pimentos, black and cayenne peppers, sour cream and mayonnaise.
    Spoon into a lightly oiled 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with cracker crumbs and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 45 minutes or until heated through.
