Rum Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    2 egg whites
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 envelope Knox gelatine, softened in 1/4 c. cold water
    3 Tbsp. rum
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Scald milk in double
    boiler.
    Add beaten egg yolks and 1/3 cup sugar.\tCook
    over
    boiling water until spoons coated. Remove from heat and add Knox gelatine;
    stir until dissolved.
