Bavarian-Style Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 (1 oz. each) sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    2/3 c. milk
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Add Crisco, chocolate and 2/3 cup milk.
    Blend for 30 seconds, then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Add eggs, rest of milk and vanilla.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Spread batter in long cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35
    minutes.
