Cheddar Baked Orzo With Pepperoni - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. diced pepperoni (diced 1/4-inch)
1 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. orzo pasta
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

In saucepan, saute pepperoni and onion over medium heat while stirring for 3 to 4 minutes.
Reduce heat and add flour with whisk to form a roux.
Whisk in broth.
Simmer sauce 2 minutes while continually stirring.
Whisk in Cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
