Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together; set aside. Work shortening until soft and smooth.
Gradually add sugar and mix again.
Stir in honey, unbeaten egg and nuts.
Blend in sifted dry ingredients.
Divide dough in half and shape each half into a roll.
Wrap each roll in wax paper and place in refrigerator overnight.
