Congealed Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime or lemon jello
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 c. shredded carrot
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare gelatin with boiling water and cold water.
    Add onion, salt and vinegar.
    Blend and chill until slightly thickened (about 1 hour).
    Add other ingredients, pour into mold and chill until firm.
    Serves 4 to 5.
