Peanut Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. granulated sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. finely chopped peanuts
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Blend in peanut butter, then flour.
    Pour into two lightly greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until centers test done.
    After about 15 minutes of baking, sprinkle peanuts onto batter to five a crunchy topping. Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of peanuts, if desired. Makes 2 loaves, 12 servings each.
