Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. boneless steak, cut into thin strips
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    big pinch of whole thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    beef broth
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 to 1 c. sour cream or yogurt
Preparation
    Combine butter and onion in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong baking dish.
    Microwave, uncovered, at power level High for 4 to 5 minutes or until onion is fairly soft, stirring once.
    Add beef, mushrooms and seasonings.
    Microwave, uncovered, at power level High for 9 to 10 minutes, or until beef is cooked, stirring twice.
