Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. pared, sliced apples
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened at room temperature
Preparation

Place apple slices in 9-inch square baking pan.
Add water. Combine dry ingredients.
Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until butter particles are fine as in biscuits.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.
