Christmas Eve Simple Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion
    1 large (16 to 20 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
    4 to 6 c. mashed potatoes (fresh or instant)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown diced onion in small amount of fat. Add ground chuck.
    Cook until done and crumbly.
    Prepare mashed potatoes.
    Cook frozen corn.
    Slightly grease or spray nonstick cooking spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Drain fat from meat. Spread crumbled meat in bottom of dish.
    Spread cooked corn on top of meat.
    Carefully spread mashed potatoes on top.
    Dot with butter or margarine.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 until brown, about 1/2 hour.
