Ingredients

2 to 2 1/2 c. mixed candied fruit
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. brandy
1/3 c. melted butter (oleo)
2 eggs
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves or allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak fruit and raisins in the brandy at least 12 hours.
Mix together the flour, baking soda, cloves (or allspice) and cinnamon; set aside.
