Grandma'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/4 lb. (3 c.) raw Spanish peanuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 rounded tsp. baking soda
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Bring sugar, Karo syrup, water and butter to boil.
    Add peanuts and boil until peanuts get brown (20 minutes).
    Remove from heat and add vanilla; mix well.
    Fold in baking soda and pour on three buttered cookie sheets.
    Pull out as it cools.
