Peppered Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 s. Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (3 oz.) can chopped chilies
Preparation
    Cook rice with salt according to the directions on package. Grease casserole dish with butter.
    Layer the ingredients:
    1/2 the rice, 1/2 the sour cream, 1/2 the chilies and 1/2 the cheese. Repeat the layers.
    Dot the top with the butter.
    Bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
